Heres a couple expressions I'v been working on for this sheep character, trying to figure out the shape and overall movement and feeling of the face with all the fur is pretty challenging. I'm still working it out.

While I was originally designing this sheep astronaught character I was keeping in mind him with his helmet on the whole time. That was part of the reason I designied him with so much access wool sticking out of his suit and around his face. I thought that it would be funny to see him all crammed into the helmet.

Been a while since I posted anything, mostly because there are tons of NDA's and agreement issues holding me back from sharing what I have been working on. But here's something that I can share, Batman designs! I'm a huge fan of all the Batman films, and even more of a fan of the characters. Throughout all the different takes on Batman, different styles, mediums, and even directors, the appearance of the characters have changed alot. These are my takes on some of the original Batman characters. I took what I liked from each version of Batman and added to give it my own twist.

When I pitched the idea of a walking man from a traffic light that was fed up of his everyday routine and only dreamed to dance, I never thought that it would be selected, or even taken seriously, but I'm glad that it got chosen, and finished in that case. Im so proud of the film and our group for completing such an amazing film, we won first place at Sheridan College for the best third year film, and hopefully thats just the beggining of awards we will win with this year. The best part about living the lifestyle of a struggling artist is that noone really expects you to buy extravagent things or expensive gifts for special occasions. And with my parents 25th anniversary on the way I had to get them a gift, so I decided to dig up their wedding photo and caricature the love birds. Heres the drawing hopefully I'll get it coloured in by time.

For our latest character design project we had to design an anthropomorphic character and rotate the head while changing his expression, I liek the was mine turned out, and im very pleased with the name, Tucan Dan, no relation to Tucan Sam, common mistake though.

So this drawing was actually for a layout project. I have no idea what it has to do for layout class, to me i seemed to be more of a character design assignment. But either way it was fun and I enjoyed it. We were told to create an original character that could be used in Pixars Cars. Mine was a double decker bus as you can see and keeping in the british theme I gave him bad teeth and a clever lisence plate...dint really know how else I could British him up. Oh yeah his name is Nigel.
